This version added some minor changes and fixes to the version 1.2. But it still misses updated spanish and catalan translations.
Follow the install and upgrade instructions of version 1.2.

Here is version 1.2 ! The major changes are:
- Image gallery : added an integrated image gallery system
- Menu : improved the menu to create dropdown menus
- Installation : created an web-based installation page to ease the installation process
- Configuration : created an online interface for the configuration file
- Theming : add an online theme customization tool to the configuration page
- Private : added a 'private' option to hide the pages from non-administrators
- Theme : reworked the default theme for it to be more generic

Here is version 1.1 ! The major changes are:
- Pages : a new type of content that are listed on a separate menu and could be used to store more permanent content like site presentation, link page, etc.
- Theme support : that should ease customization and upgrade
- Upload list : a list of uploaded files now appears on the view page
- XHTML help : on the edit page there's now a link to an help page on XHTML syntax and on each view page I added a link to the W3C validator to encourage you to check your XHTML

Version 1.0

After running http://okupesbcn.net/ for a while and spending a bit more time on the code here is Blig Blog 1.0.
I made quite a lot of both visible and invisible work as the changelog can testify. Even though this phase perfectly followed the Pareto principe in which 20% of the code requires 80% of the effort it was still worth it and really necessary. Now with this version 1.0 it kind of starts to look like a decent piece of software.

Yoohoo !
After two hard days of development Blig Blog is out. It's a super tiny blog system that is made of 9 Kb of code and doesn't even require a database. Just untar it, adjust a few permissions and it's ready and you can :
- Blog in HTML format and just tell everything.
- Upload files to include images or anything.
- Share all this with the whole world with an RSS feed.
- Tweak its CSS to match the latest trends.
The idea is adapted from the blog I hacked last summer to write silly stories about my trip to the States. I now improved it to be used as the "noticies" section of the website for the Assemblea d'Okupes de Barcelona and I'm of course releasing it under the GPL just for you.
